Hey, it's Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the WeatherTech No-Drill Mud Flaps on front of the 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. We're just gonna be doin' the front ones in our case, but they do come in sets at the front, or if you want the front and back you can get those as well. Just gonna be a good way to protect truck from gravel, debris, dirt, anything like that that you're gonna be driving, kicking up from your tires, eventually scratching the paint of your car. These will keep it nice and safe. The flaps themselves are made of a durable thermal plastic material, so they'll hold up well over time, and whatever you throw at it. more

Husky Liners Front and Rear Molded Mud Flaps Installation - 2012 Chevrolet Silverado- Video

Today on our 2012 Chevrolet Silverado, we're gonna be taking a look at the husky liner mudflaps. So this kit's gonna come with both the driver and passenger side for the back, but also the driver and passenger side for the front as well. What's great for this is especially if we have some of those wider tires, they're just knobby tires like we have here. we're gonna start throwing rocks up and stuff. It's gonna start chipping away at our paint and if we're hauling anything fun behind us, whether it's just mowers or even just a cool side-by-side, it's gonna start sparking rocks all the way back there and just going to chip up everything. So just taking a little bit of time to install these, just to protect your truck and anything else behind you, is definitely a no brainer for me. more

Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Husky Liners, custom molded mud flaps, on our 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2,500.So if you're looking to just add a little bit of style to your truck and also protect it, these are going to be a little bit wider than the OEM mud flaps, if you have those. And it's just going to protect your paint from any rocks or anything like that, you drive it in mud and then you drive on rock. It is going to pick up a lot of that stuff and start flinging it everywhere. We want to protect our paint.So if you have knobby tires and they pick up rocks on the way to wherever you're going, that is again, going to put your paint at risk. If you're looking to protect your truck, make it look good, this is the way to do it. Because if you ever go on any sort of muddy type roads, or you just have really, really knobby tires, they pick up a lot of rocks in either situation, that's going to spit them back here, and it's going to eventually kind of wear away at your paint. Yeah, we do have a little bit of protective coating here, but over time, rocks are going to do a lot of damage. So, if you really want to protect your truck, protect your paint, and also, make it look good, these mudflaps are going to do all of that.One thing I really like about the mudflaps is too, a lot of the times, the trim pieces and stuff fade over time. Now, these are available for the rear, as well as the front separately, or you can get the whole set so you can make sure you have that protection for your Colorado.Now, one of the things I like most about these mud flaps is how seamless they look on the back. They just have a really clean look, because they're going to follow that body line perfectly and they're not going to be a universal type of design where you just have a big flap and it doesn't really follow the body lines. You can see it follows perfectly and almost looks like it was from the factory like this.And the front mud flap's no different. WeatherTech No-Drill Front Mud Flaps Installation - 2013 Chevrolet Silverado- Video

Today on our 2013 Chevy Silverado, we'll be installing the Weather Tech Front Mud Flaps part number WT110010. Now to begin our install, we'll first going to go ahead and take the tire and turn it out to give us more room to install the mud flap. You can see that we can get to all four fasteners that we'll need to work with. Next just using some water and cleaner we'll go ahead and remove the dirt, dust and debris that is build up here. By removing the dirt, dust and debris, it will help prevent any scratching of the paint when it gets trapped between the mud flap. All right, next we'll go ahead and remove the 2 bottom push pin fasteners. To remove the fasteners, we'll pry out on the center of the fastener using a flat blade screwdriver, work that center fastener out. more

WeatherTech No-Drill Rear Mud Flaps Installation - 2013 Chevrolet Silverado- Video

Today on our 2013 Chevy Silverado, we are going to be installing the Weather Tech Mud Flaps for the rear axle part number WT120010. Now to begin our install, we are first going to go ahead and clean the painted surface where our mud flap will be installed, just using a soup and water solution and a cleaner, spray it down and then wipe it off. Now once we've got it cleaned up, we'll go ahead and identify the driver side. Here marked into the mud flap will be LH for left hand which is also known as the driver side. Then we have 3 attachment points, the plastic hook which will go over on the metal fender and then 2 twist locks that will turn and lock into place securing the mud flap. Provided with the install kit is an Allen Wrench to tighten down the twist locks or if you have a set of Allen sockets you can use that also. First we'll slide the plastic hook in the bottom over the metal fender lip and we'll hold the mud flap uptight and tighten down the Allen screws that will lock it into place. more

WeatherTech Rear Mud Flaps Installation - 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500- Video

Today on this 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 Crew Cab we're going to install part number WT120035. This is the WeatherTech Mud Flaps. This part number is for the rear of the truck. First off, we're looking at the passenger side and we need to remove these two fasteners, these torques bit fasteners. The nice part about the kit is it supplies you with the torques tool that you need, but this is all you get. To make things a little easier you could actually use a ratchet with a quarter inch socket and use it to remove the screw. more

WeatherTech Front Mud Flaps Installation - 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500- Video

Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 Crew Cab, we're going to install part number WT110035. This is WeatherTech Mud Flaps for the front wheels. To install a mud flap, they'll be four screws that we have to remove. I use a small torque split to do that with. The mud flaps do come with the inaudible 00:23. It may be a good idea to go ahead and install it with a quarter inch socket. You can use it inaudible 00:29 ratchet. more

Husky Rear Mud Flaps Installation - 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 2500- Video

Today on our 2014 Chevy Silverado, we'll be installing the Husky custom molded mud flaps, for the rear axle, part number HL57791. Note for this install, I am going to go ahead and remove the rear wheels as it is going to make it easier to install the mud flaps. Now that the rear wheels removed, we'll go ahead and clean the surface around the area where we'll be mounting the mud flap so the dirt won't be embedded to the paint when it get sandwiched between the mud flap and the paint. We'll go ahead and set our mud flap in place. If you look carefully, on the mud flap, it will indicate LH for left side or driver side, and RH for right-hand or passenger side, to know any which mud flap will go on either side. We'll go ahead and set the mud flap into position and using a pencil, mark the top of the mud flag, because next we'll be applying the paint protection film that we'll want to extend just beyond the edges of the mud flap. Next we'll apply an install solution and then we can go ahead and take the film and set it in to place. Once we get in to position, we'll then go ahead and dry it. more

Husky Front Mud Flaps Installation - 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 2500- Video

Today on our 2014 Chevy Silverado we'll be installing Husky custom molded mud flap for the front axle part number Hl56791 . Now to begin our install, we first go ahead and remove the front wheels to make it easier to remove the mud flaps. Next we'll go ahead and clean the painted surface where the mud flaps will be mounted. Now as it's thoroughly cleaned, we apply an application solution and a protective film that will go underneath the mud flap to prevent the mud flap from rubbing directly on the paint. We'll use dry cloth and or a squigy or a sponge to push the application solution out from under the film and and then allow it to dry. Now, once our protective film is dried, we're ready to install the mud flaps. To install this mud flap, we first remove three of the manufacturers fasteners. more

Today on our 202cs, we'll be installing the WeatherTech easy-install, no-drill mud flaps for the front and rear, part number WT110006-120006. We'll begin on the driver's front. We'll need to go ahead and remove a couple of the plastic fasteners that hold the inner fender liner in. You can do this by either using a flat head screwdriver. Or if you happen to have an auto fastener removal tool, that works, too. There are also two holes in the actual fender that have nothing in it before you started, that will get two plastic push rivets pushed into them. more

Today on our 2012 Chevy Silverado were going to install the Husky liners custom molded mud flaps part #: hl56791. This set is for the front axle. Towards installation well be removing the old fastener. For our first step weve gone away and raised the vehicle and removed the wheel. This will make it much easier to install our mud flap. Weve got two screws here that hold the wheel well to the sheet metal and one push pin fastener that will be removed. more
